Largely inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s musical episode, “Once More, With Feeling,” Stray Gods is a roleplaying musical game. Madden NFL 24 (August 18)

It’s officially football season. The NFL kicks off its preseason in early August leading into the release of Madden NFL 24 on August 18. This year’s game looks to add increased realism with FieldSENSE improvements and the all-new SAPIEN Technology. EA and ESPN recently spent the recent weeks going over the player ratings in this year’s game. Here are the players in this year’s 99 Club.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon (August 25)

From developer FromSoftware, comes the latest in mecha-based vehicular combat games. Armored Core VI is the first in the series since 2013’s Verdict Day. Step into a customizable mech and try to earn a new life on the planet of Rubicon 3. While the popular arena returns in the form of a “combat aptitude evaluation program” that rewards you with completed missions, but subtracts from your compensation and reward depending on completed objectives. Thankfully, the debt system from earlier games does not return.
