Arsenal fans know how long they’ve waited to see William Saliba start in defense. After multiple loan spells in France, Saliba finally stepped in to that backline and played to a high level before an injury ended his season early. He was pivotal to transforming Arsenal’s defense into one of the best in the league. Fans have high hopes for the defense this season that’s added Jurrien Timber and potentially Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.

Saliba started FIFA 23 as an 80 overall, but he’s poised to make a big jump like other young defenders have in previous years like Eder Militao. We predict he’ll be 84 overall, but he could very well be 82 or 83.
