Madden 24 ratings: Best defensive ends and defensive tackles
The second day of Madden Ratings Week focused on the trenches, specifically the defensive side of the ball. EA revealed today the best defensive ends and defensive tackles in Madden 24.
Leading the pack is none other than defensive end Aaron Donald who is once again rated a 99 Overall. This is a record-setting seventh time that Donald has been a member of Madden’s illustrious “99 Club.” Donald checks in with 99 Strength, 97 Block Shedding and 93 Tackle. He joins Justin Jefferson as the second member of Madden 24’s “99 Club.”
Right behind him is former “99 Club” member Myles Garrett. The Browns’ defensive end, who last year was rated 99 Overall, dropped a point to a 98 overall. He boasts 87 Speed, 91 Acceleration, 96 Strength, 95 Awareness and 92 Tackling.
49ers end Nick Bosa is rated the same as Garrett, a 98 Overall. Bosa’s speed is considerably lower at 79, but he makes up for it with 92 Acceleration, 91 Strength, 99 Awareness and 96 Tackling.
Micah Parsons, who many believe is one of the best edge rushers in the league, is rated 97 overall. He’s got 92 Speed, 95 Accerlation, 87 Strength and 97 Awareness, but just 89 Tackling.

The full ratings for defensive linemen can be found here. Now two days into Madden Ratings week, we have the full player ratings for wide receiver, strong and free safety, defensive ends and defensive linemen. Tomorrow, EA will reveal the rating for the running back position. Given the drama surrounding the position this offseason with long-term contracts, I expect there to be plenty of debate.
