EA and ESPN’s Madden Ratings Week kicked off today with the reveal of ratings for both wide receivers and safeties in Madden 24.

Naturally, the wide receiver position drew the most attention as it featured the reveal of our first “99 Club” member, Justin Jefferson. For those unfamiliar, the 99 Club is the name designated to the small group of players who are rated 99 overall in this year’s game, the highest possible rating you can achieve in Madden.

The full ratings for wide receivers were revealed, but here we are focusing solely on speed. As the NFL has shifted more towards becoming a passing league, it’s more important than ever to have a receiver who is capable of stretching the field. Guys like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle — who both happen to play for the Miami Dolphins — are explosive every time they touch the ball and can turn a simple five-yard reception into a 60-plus-yard touchdown thanks to their run after the catch. Both players also happen to be among the top three fastest wide receivers in Madden 24.

Here’s a quick look at some of the fastest wide receivers in Madden 24 at launch. Remember, these ratings can change throughout the season depending on player performance.

Do you agree with the top ten fastest receivers? Remember, it’s not just about speed. The ability to be aware of your surroundings and secure the catch is equally important, which is why you should also look at the overall rating for each player as well.
