Centers play a major role for successful NBA teams. The job of a Center is to get down in the paint to protect their own basket from close-range threats. However, a great Center also produces at the other end of the court at a decently high rate. As NBA 2K24 approaches, it appears that some of the ratings have already leaked according to 2Kratings.com.

With that being said, the top five centers are all very talented and more than well deserving to make it on this list. However, until something is officially announced by 2K, you never know if these are going to change.

5. Karl-Anthony Towns (Minnesota Timberwolves) – 86 Overall

Karl-Anthony Towns just wrapped up his 8th season with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Towns is a tremendous athlete that helped propel the Timberwolves into the 2023 NBA Postseason. The Timberwolves finished as a 7 seed during the regular season and had to compete in the NBA Play-In Tournament. The Timberwolves were unsuccessful against the Los Angeles Lakers, but they redeemed themselves by destroying the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-95.

In the Timberwolves win over the Thunder to send the Timberwolves into the postseason, Towns compiled a Double Double by having 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists. For the entirety of the 2022-2023 NBA Season, Karl Anthony Towns averaged 20.8 ppg and shot 49.5% from the field. The Minnesota Timberwolves still have a long way to go, but having Karl-Anthony Towns on their team make them a dangerous team on any given night. It appears that Karl-Anthony Towns is going to be getting around an 86 Overall. This is extremely fair. Karl-Anthony Towns has had better NBA 2K ratings in the past, but he has also had better regular seasons as well. With this being more of a down year for Towns, an 86 overall seems to be the way to go.
