RUMOR: Is Travis Scott Doing Another Fortnite Concert?

A Fortnite rumor started that Travis Scott would be doing another concert in-game, though that is not true. At least, for now.

Travis Scott tweeted on July 9: “UTOPIA LIVE AT THE PYRAMIDS. CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YA,” regarding an upcoming live performance in Giza, Egypt. FaZe Clan tweeted a meme of Scott’s Fortnite skin with the tweet and the pyramid in Fortnite from Chapter 2. Now, for those who didn’t do the required Twitter scrolling or researching, rumors started to swirl that Scott would be doing another Fortnite concert.

But, in fact, that’s not the case. His tweet referred to the performance in Egypt taking place on July 28.

So, no, the rumor is not true as of writing. Travis Scott is not planned to do another Fortnite concert any time soon. It’s been over three years since the Astronomical performance, and while another concert would excite Fortnite fans, there’s no plans announced.

It was one of the most unique and hyped Fortnite experiences in the game’s history, and perhaps Epic Games wants to plan a sequel sometime in the future. The current rumors just aren’t amounting to anything substantial.
