Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks) — 97 OVR

Despite a disappointing 2022-2023 season for the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic still showed why he is the best point guard in the NBA. Doncic managed to average 32.4 PPG and 8 APG with a lackluster supporting cast for most of the season. The former third pick in the 2018 draft even became the first player in NBA history to record a 60-point, 20-assist triple-double against the New York Knicks.

Plus, Doncic rarely gets enough credit for his playmaking ability. When the ball is in his hands, the Mavericks are in the best position to win, whether Doncic is chucking up a circus shot or throwing a no-look pass. In fact, the PG took home the NBA’s Assist of the Year for his pass to Jaden Hardy against the Indiana Pacers.

I see Doncic being the third highest ranked player overall in NBA 2K24, only behind Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo. One thing is for certain: Doncic’s 95 rating from NBA 2K23 will surely increase.
