Christian McCaffrey (San Francisco 49ers) – 96 OVR

Christian McCaffrey finally proved his doubters wrong last year. He was fully healthy and played in every game for the first time since the 2019 season. The result  was a return to form to the tune of 1,139 rushing yards, 9 rushing touchdowns, 741 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns. Christian McCaffrey may not be the fastest or strongest, but he’s a dynamic playmaker. His ability to catch passes out of the backfield make him a nightmare to plan against.

While his total stats might take a bit of a dip as he now plays for a much more talented 49ers team that won’t need to totally rely on him, I believe he’ll still remain one of the best producers on a per carry/catch basis. Playing for the 49ers will hopefully allow him to stay more fresh and he should have plenty of opportunity for big plays.

McCaffrey started the season with a 95 overall in Madden 23, but rose a 96 overall by the end of the year. I think he returns as a 96 overall.
