On July 1, 2022, the Pokemon Trading Card Game released a new set based on the hit mobile game Pokemon GO. The Pokemon GO set for Pokemon TCG is a relatively small set consisting of 78 Base Cards and 10 Secret Rare Cards for a total of 88 cards in the Master Set.

While the set doesn’t feature a ton of overly expensive cards, there are a handful of cards with some decent value to them. If you have bought some Pokemon GO packs and have been collecting the set since it first came out, you may want to double check to see if you have some of these cards in your collection.

Ten most expensive Pokemon GO Trading Cards

  1. Mewtwo VSTAR Full Art Rainbow Holo #79/78 (Between $30-$40)
  2. Dragonite VSTAR Full Art Rainbow Holo #81/78 (Roughly $25)
  3. Mewtwo V Full Art Holo #72/78 (Between $20-$22)
  4. Mewtwo VSTAR Full Art Gold Holo #86/78 (Roughly $17)
  5. Melmetal VMAX Full Art Rainbow Holo #80/78 (Roughly $13)
  6. Professor’s Research Full Art Rainbow Holo #84/78 (Roughly $13)
  7. Candela Full Art Rainbow Holo #83/78 (Roughly $11)
  8. Blanche Full Art Rainbow Holo #82/78 (Between $10-$11)
  9. Spark Full Art Rainbow Holo #85/78 (Roughly $10)
  10. Ditto Reverse Holo #53/78 (Roughly $10)

As you can tell, there are no cards on this list that are out of astronomically expensive. The most expensive card in this set is the Mewtwo VSTAR Full Art Rainbow Holo #79/78. If you have and sell this card, you can expect to get anywhere from $30-$40. That is a fairly decent price given the average cost of one Pokemon GO pack is $6.99.

Most of the pricier cards on this list are Secret Rare Cards with the exception of two of them found in the Base Set. However, one of the most interesting cards in the Pokemon GO TCG Set is the Ditto Reverse Holo. In fact, you may have one of these cards and not even realize it.

If you are familiar with Ditto, Ditto takes the persona of other Pokemon and turns into them. He also does that as a trading card as well. If you look in the bottom left-hand corner of your card and notice a little Ditto logo, you have found an imposter card. These cards are actually able to be peeled back and by doing so, you will reveal yourself a Ditto card. The top portion of the card that you peeled off now acts as a sticker. You don’t even need to keep the sticker if you don’t want to.
