Diablo 4 has been out for about three weeks now and in this time players have spent millions of hours in hell and have slayed billions of monsters — all with the goal of farming the best and most powerful weapons. Last week, we reported that the rarest item in Diablo 4 right now is the Harlequin Crest which, as of that writing, dropped only three times for players since the game’s launch.

While the Harlequin Crest is the rarest item in Diablo 4, it’s joined by five other items that are classified as “super rare Uniques” that have proved equally difficult to farm. Diablo 4 lead class designer Adam Jackson took to social media recently to reveal the six rarest Unique items in Diablo 4 as well as details on how to improve your chances of getting them.

So how do you get these incredibly rare Unique items in Diablo 4? Thankfully, Adam Jackson also shared some details on how to obtain them, although I’m not sure how much help it will actually be. There are two important details you need to know when trying to farm these six incredibly rare Unique items in Diablo 4:

  1. They can only drop from enemies level 85+
  2. You can farm for them anywhere you can get a regular Unique

If you do happen to be lucky enough to get one of these drops, they will always drop at 820 Item Power.

Again, it should be stressed that these are REALLY rare drops. Jackson goes on to explain that whenever you get a Unique there is a chance for it to instead be one of these six items. So the best way to farm them is to focus on content that gives you the most Uniques over a set period of time. This begs the question, is there any reason to do high tier Nightmare Dungeons right now in Diablo 4?
