NBA 2K24 rookies: Every Round 1 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft
The 2023 NBA Draft was hosted last night and while we don’t have any details for NBA 2K24, it gave basketball fans something to look forward to in the upcoming game. Part of the fun of playing NBA 2K games is controlling some of the game’s brightest stars, and that includes top prospects.
If you’re a San Antonio Spurs fan, you can look forward to playing as Victor Wembanyama. The French phenom was a unanimous No. 1 pick and, sure enough, he went first overall. The question now will be if he can live up to his pre-draft status as the most hyped NBA prospect since LeBron James.
Scoot Henderson at No. 3 to the Blazers is another fascinating pick because it could have an impact on what Damian Lillard decides to do. Portland fans may be able to play as one of the top young talents in NBA 2K24, but they maybe doing so without Damian Lillard on the court.
The Miami Heat added a tremendous weapon in Jaime Jaquez Jr. The UCLA prospect was among the more mature players in this draft and he joins an already talented Miami Heat that will look to build on their Finals run. With Game Vincent and Max Strus set to become free agents, the Heat could have some new support players on the court next year in NBA 2K24.
It should be noted that the list below has the order in which players were drafted by the team with their pick. Some of these players were later traded in the draft. So you’ll see, for example, the Indiana Pacers drafting Bilal Coulibaly at No. 7, who was then traded to the Washington Wizards.
