Where is Pokemon GO Fest 2023 taking place?

This year, Pokemon GO Fest 2023 will be making its way to three different cities across the globe, along with a global worldwide event to follow. To kick things off, the fest will begin in Osaka, Japan and London, England on August 4, 5, and 6.

Following the events taking place in Japan and England, Pokemon GO Fest 2023 will be making its way to New York City on August 18,19, and 20.

How much does Pokemon GO Fest 2023 cost?

If you are looking to participate in this year’s major event, you should know that it isn’t free. In fact, tickets are available for purchase now. You must purchase a ticket to one of the above dates if you want to participate in this year’s event. The exact location of where the event is taking place, the dates, and times are all listed on their website when you are going to purchase a ticket.

Tickets normally cost $30 per day. Since we are only in June, you are able to purchase tickets as part of the Early Bird Special for $25.

Pokemon GO Fest 2023: Global

If you do not live in Osaka, London, or New York City, or you don’t think you are going to be able to make it to any of these cities on those dates above, you can participate in the Global Event that is taking place on August 26 and August 27.

To participate in the Global Event, you will not need to purchase a ticket. During this Event, special Pokemon will appear for gamers to go out and collect. This is your opportunity to get as many new Pokemon as you possibly can.

What is the difference between purchasing a ticket and not purchasing one?

In order to participate in the city specific Pokemon GO Fest 2023, you will need a ticket. For the Global Event taking place on August 26-27, you do not need one, but you still might want to consider purchasing one. Ticket holders will receive exclusive content, bonuses, and more, including an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Diancie!

Some of the exclusive content ticket holders receive are Special Research, a Global Challenge Arena, special Incense Encounters for certain Pokemon, and so much more.
