Cities: Skylines 2 pre-order bonuses: What comes in each edition?

Cities: Skylines 2 finally has a release date, and it came with an official gameplay trailer. Cities: Skylines 2 will be released on October 24, 2023. The original Cities: Skylines had overwhelming success. If you ever have wanted to create your own city and design it from the ground up, this is the video game for you. Now that there is an official release date scheduled for Cities: Skylines 2, pre-orders are now available.

Cities: Skylines 2 will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. If you are looking to pre-order the game ahead of its launch, you will be happy to know that there are some pre-order bonuses that will come with it.

There are two editions of Cities: Skylines 2 that you can pre-order: the basic Standard Edition or the Ultimate Edition. Whichever edition you decide to pre-order, you will get the same pre-order bonuses regardless.

The nine Unique Landmark Buildings you will receive are The London Eye, Notre Dame, National Gallery, Grand Hotel, Botanical Garden, Näsinneula, Xi’an Bell Tower, Sungnye and National Diet. Some truly iconic buildings to build your dream city with.

Cities: Skylines 2 Standard Edition

The Standard Edition just comes with the base game and the pre-order bonuses. If you don’t pre-order Cities: Skylines 2 and just purchase the Standard Edition after the game comes out, you are only going to receive the base game. The Standard Edition costs $49.99.

Cities: Skylines 2 Ultimate Edition

If you really enjoyed the original Cities: Skylines or even feel a little adventurous, you can purchase the Ultimate Edition for $89.99. There is a $40 price difference between each edition, but that is because the Ultimate Edition comes with tons more content.

The Ultimate Edition includes all of the aforementioned pre-order bonuses, but the major difference is the inclusion of the Expansion Pass.

The Expansion Pass begins in the fourth quarter of 2023 and bleeds into the second quarter of 2024.
