The Legend of Zelda franchise has given gamers some pretty iconic video game characters. One character that everyone really loves is Sheik. Since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the latest installment in the Zelda series, many have been wondering if Sheik will be returning to the franchise.

Sheik is Princess Zelda’s alter ego. Sheik first debuted in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Princess Zelda used the alter ego Sheik as a way to disguise and hide herself from Ganondorf who is looking for her so that he can acquire the Triforce of Wisdom. No one, not even Link, knows Princess Zelda is Sheik until Sheik decides to reveal their true identity later on in the game’s storyline.

Sheik being revealed as actually being Princess Zelda is one of the biggest moments in The Legend of Zelda franchise and thus why so many gamers are attached to Sheik. With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom just being released a little over a week ago, many gamers were wondering if Sheik was making her return to the franchise.

Unfortunately, Sheik is not in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, part of Sheik is. If you remember, Breath of the Wild allowed you to seek out and find Sheik’s mask. The same can be said about Tears of the Kingdom. If you are looking to acquire Sheik’s mask in Tears of the Kingdom, you can do so by going on a little search for it.

How to find Sheik’s Mask in Tears of the Kingdom

As I mentioned before, Sheik as a character doesn’t make an appearance in Tears of the Kingdom, but that doesn’t mean you can’t represent Sheik by having Link wear Sheik’s mask.

There are a few ways to obtain Sheik’s mask in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The first way to try obtaining it is by scanning the Super Smash Bros Sheik Amiibo. If you do not own that Amiibo, that is perfectly fine as well.

The second way that you can obtain Sheik’s mask is to simply buy it from any Bargainer Statue in the Depths and purchase it for 400 Poes.

However, if you want to go out on a bit of adventure, there is a more complicated way to obtain it as well. For this, you will need to travel down into the Depths below Gerudo. If you are unsure of how to get down here, you can just enter via the Chasm that is located in East Gerudo or even the South Lomei Labyrinth Chasm. Either one will get you into the Depths below.

Once you are down in the Depths, make your way to the Desert Coliseum. The Desert Coliseum is located in the Southwest region of The Depths as seen below.

Make your way inside the Coliseum and head to the chest in the center. Just before you are able to open it, a cutscene will begin showing the entrance being locked shut behind you. Before you can officially open the chest, you will need to defeat the enemies that await you. After you defeat them, you will be able to open the chest and inside of it you will find Sheik’s mask. This may not be the most efficient way, but it is definitely the most fun way to try and obtain it.
