Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: Wao-os shrine guide
One of the many off-the-beaten-path shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the Wao-os shrine. It’s one you may never get to if you’re not an explorer in Zelda. If you do, it’s a bit tricky and this guide will walk you through how to complete it.
You’ll want to get to the following location northwest of Rito village. You’ll see the West Lake Cave nearby here. Enter the cave to find the shrine.
Once inside the shrine, you need to play a little slingshot. Follow these steps inside.
- Put the bowl at the back edge of the board on the floor.
- Put the ball inside the bowl.
- Grab the big block and drop it from highest it can go onto the edge of the board.
- The ball will shoot across and hit the lower target, opening a door.
- Grab the wood from the door and attach it to the wood on the floor making a longer piece.
- Move the bowl to this board. Place it on the board as shown here.
- Drop the block from up high again, hitting the top target to open the far door.
- Get in the bowl and drop block to shoot yourself high in the air. Go to chest above you for a spicy elixir.
- Go back down and shoot yourself again across the chasm and into the far doorway.
And there you have it, that is how you complete the Wao-Os shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You will get your light of blessing and be on your way to completing all the heart container and stamina upgrades.
Be sure to let us know how many shrines you have completed so far. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
