Which Amiibo gives you Epona in Tears of the Kingdom?
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players can use Amiibos to unlock some special in-game items, but which Amiibo gives you Epona as a free horse?
Anyone familiar with Breath of the Wild will remember a certain feature on the Sheika Slate that enabled the scanning of Amiibos to drop items in-game. These items and rewards ranged from simple cooking materials to weapons to some exclusive in-game bonus items and cosmetics. The unique items were mainly reserved for The Legend of Zelda-themed Amiibos, unlocking things like classic outfits for Link and more.
Thankfully, the feature makes a return in the sequel Tears of the Kingdom, unlocking some similar special rewards to use throughout your adventure.
One special reward earned through Amiibos in Breath of the Wild was Link’s classic horse companion, Epona. She makes a return once again in Tears of the Kingdom thanks to a certain Amiibo, but which one?
Which Amiibo gives you Epona in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?
Just like in Breath of the Wild, in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players can earn Epona through using the Twilight Princess Link Amiibo.
Like before, Epona is a rare drop from this Amiibo, so players might need to try scanning the figure on multiple days before Epona drops as a reward.
The Twilight Princess Link Amiibo also has the chance to drop the following items:
- Fruit
- Knight’s Broadsword
- Knight’s Shield
- Cap of Twilight (Rare)
- Trousers of Twilight (Rare)
