Call of Duty 2023 Release Date Reported, Title Revealed

Call of Duty 2023’s release date and subsequent title has been reported by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson.
Call of Duty 2023 will release Nov. 10, 2023 per Henderson’s report and the game will be called Modern Warfare 3. According to Henderson, this is a full-fledged sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare 2 and will feature a campaign, multiplayer plus the return of Zombies. As well, there will be a new Warzone 2 map released.

Here’s a list of important dates to know regarding COD 2023, per Henderson:
- Beta weekend 1 (PS4/PS5) – October 6, 2023 – October 10, 2023
- Beta weekend 2 (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – October 12, 2023 – October 16, 2023
- Campaign Early Access (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – November 2, 2023
- Full Release (PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC) – November 10, 2023
- Season 1 Launch / New Warzone Map – December 5, 2023
Zombies returning is big for fans of the game mode, and a new Warzone 2 map aligns with Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release when it introduced Warzone Pacific and Caldera. Each Call of Duty title, since Warzone’s 2020 launch, has included a new map with a new main series entry.
According to Henderson, the map will be called Las Almas. The same map from the Modern Warfare 2 campaign. It will launch with Season 1 which reportedly starts Dec. 5, 2023. According to Henderson’s report, the new Zombies mode is, “essentially an Outbreak 2.0.” The developer is reportedly considering whether to include it as part of COD 2023 or release it as a standalone, free-to-play experience.
