Ranked Play is coming to Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded next week. After teasing the mode for months, the Call of Duty Staff finally released a comprehensive article detailing the Warzone 2 Ranked Play SR system.

Warzone 2 Ranked will only be available to play in trios on Al Mazrah, and almost all the gameplay elements of a normal Battle Royale game will transfer to a Ranked match besides multi-circle zones.

The ranking system will also remain the same as Modern Warfare 2 Ranked, with eight Skill Divisions: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson, Iridescent, and Top 250. The Warzone 2 Ranked SR system, though, is much more complex than MW2’s.

Here’s a breakdown of how much SR players will gain and lose in Warzone 2 Ranked Play, per the Call of Duty Staff.

Warzone 2 Ranked Play SR system Explained

Players will earn SR based on:

  • Placement
  • Kills
  • Assists
  • Kills by your squad

Unlike MW2, your teammate’s kills will have the power to increase your SR. Also, depending on the amount of teams remaining in the match, SR amounts will fluctuate as follows:

  • 21+ Squads Remaining: +5 SR per elimination/assist, +2 SR per squadmate elimination
  • 3-20 Squads Remaining: +7 SR per elimination/assist, +3 SR per squadmate elimination
  • 1-3 Squads Remaining: +15 SR per elimination/assist, +7 SR per squadmate elimination

The system is designed to reward players more for kills and assists they tally later in the game. Not only will the increased SR help improve your Skill Division, but it will also balance the Deployment Fee taken from your total at the beginning of each match. The following fees will be taken from each Skill Division:

  • Bronze I-III: No Deployment Fee
  • Silver I: -10 SR
  • Silver II: -14 SR
  • Silver III:-18 SR
  • Gold I: -23 SR
  • Gold II: -28 SR
  • Gold III: -33 SR
  • Platinum I: -39 SR
  • Platinum II: -45 SR
  • Platinum III: -51 SR
  • Diamond I: -58 SR
  • Diamond II: -65 SR
  • Diamond III: -72 SR
  • Crimson I: -80 SR
  • Crimson II: -90 SR
  • Crimson III: -100 SR
  • Iridescent and Top 250: -110 SR + 10 SR every 500 SR above 10,000 up to a max fee of -210 SR

All players will start Season 3 Reloaded in Bronze I on May 9. Until Ranked Play drops, you can revisit Plunder, the beloved mode from the original Warzone, now in Warzone 2.
