The VALORANT Premier Open Beta gives players a new challenge beyond Ranked Play in the FPS game, offering a full schedule of matches, free rewards, and competitive VALORANT Premier divisions. First matches kicked off yesterday, and there was some confusion surrounding enrollment and skill divisions.

Unfortunately, the small window to enroll teams has closed; any players that did not sign-up by Apr. 28 cannot participate in matches. They will have to wait for the game to drop in full in August to get in on the action.

Weekly matches will unfold throughout May on pre-set maps to find the best teams enrolled in VALORANT Premier. Teams can only play up to two matches per week until May 20. Then, the teams with the most points earned from the weekly matches will enter a playoff tournament.

VALORANT Premier Divisions Explained

There are 20 VALORANT Premier divisions. Once each team enrolls, they are sorted into one of the 20 divisions in their regional zone. Placement depends on the average matchmaking rating of your top five players.

The divisions are the best way to keep matches in each zone fairly even. Unlike some of the mismatches in Ranked, your team should meet opponents within your skill range throughout the Open Beta.

Those who manage to gain victories in their division will earn an exclusive Premier Beta Champions Player Card and Premier Beta Champions Title. Plus, players will automatically earn a Premier Beta Participation Player Card and Premier Beta Participation Title just for playing a single match in their division.

To enter each match in style, check out the new line of VALORANT Radiant Entertainment System skins, now available in the store.
