Xbox Games with Gold for May 2023: May the 4th be with you
The end of April is approaching and that can only mean one thing, more free games as part of the Xbox Games with Gold promotion! You still have time to take advantage of last month’s Xbox Games with Gold, but it is time to look forward. Microsoft has just announced the next two games that are headed to Xbox’s famous promotion, including one game that is very fitting for a May release.
Games with Gold May 2023
- Star Wars Racer Episode I (Available May 1 to May 31)
- Hoa (Available May 16 to June 15)
Everyone knows that May 4 is Star Wars Day (“May the 4th be with you”), and Microsoft is kicking off the month by giving away a classic Star Wars game for free. Star Wars Racer Episode I will be available to download for free for the whole month of May starting on May 1.
Start Wars Racer Episode I takes you back to the early days of The Skywalker Saga as you follow the story of a young Anakin Skywalker and his days of pod racing. This game strictly focuses on pod racing from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace and is a great way to get you ready for Star Wars Day on May 4th. Fire up over 21 different pod racers and see if Anakin Skywalker still has what it takes to be one of the best pod racers in the galaxy.
After you have gotten your Star Wars fix in, you can enjoy Hoa later in the month, beginning on May 16. Hoa is a completely different game than Star Wars Racer Episode I and focuses on a fairy returning to her homeland of Hoa. The art, music, and design are the key features of what makes Hoa such an interesting Puzzle Platformer. If you are interested to see what the world of Hoa has in store, you can download it for free on Xbox starting on May 16.
I also say that you can always download the game to always have it as part of your library, and if you don’t like it, you can delete it and re-download it anytime you want. That is what makes the Xbox Games with Gold promotion so great. You can start the month off with a fast-paced game with lots of action in Star Wars Racer Episode I, and you can end the second half of May with a more soothing video game in Hoa.
