Nintendo Switch Online: Comix Zone cheats for the Sega Genesis

Comix Zone. There are many ways to experience the 90s via the Sega Genesis Channel on Nintendo Switch Online, but this is the most 90s you’re going to get. A “cool guy” with a ponytail and weird round glasses. Multiple layers up top, shorts down low. Fingerless gloves? It doesn’t get any more “x-treme” than this.

Play as “Sketch Turner”, a comic book artist who gets pulled into the world of his own creation faster than you can say “Cool World”. While so tricky it’s practically broken, the game was revolutionary in the way that instead of scrolling or walking off the screen, you’d hit the end of a comic panel and climb over to the next like so much early Gwenpool.

Luckily, there are codes that we can use to make the remarkably obnoxious difficulty something much more palatable.

Please keep in mind that these codes are for use on the Nintendo Switch. If you’re playing it on the original system you’re going to have to translate the buttons. Now, tie a flannel around your waist and let’s get to work.

View the Credits

Let’s say you just wanna see the people who made this game, you can skip directly to the credits pretty easily by doing the following:

  • While in the Options Menu, press Y, B, and A all at the same time to immediately go to the credits.

Stage Select

Head over to the options menu and find the jukebox. From there, hover over the following songs and hit A.

  • 14, 15, 18, 5, 13, 1, 3, 18, 15, 6.

One that’s completed, go over 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 and press C to select what stage you want the game to start with.

Unlimited Health

We will head to the jukebox and again enter the following songs by pressing B over each.

  • 3, 12, 17, 2, 2, 10, 2, 7, 7, 11.

If done correctly you’ll hear a voice go, “Oh yeah” in a way that was only appropriate in the 90’s. Start your game and enjoy unlimited health.
