Other changes

  • Fixed an issue where players could increase attack speed by move-cancelling attacks early.
  • Fixed an issue where characters weren’t immune and untargetable after loading into an area.
  • The Reset Dungeon button has been disabled.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Gale Valley and Serac Rapture to have less monsters than intended until the campaign quests in those territories were completed.

Besides Dungeons and Classes, Blizzard wanted to also fix some areas of Diablo IV that they felt needed some fixing up. These changes range from bug fixes that appeared to be broken during the game, to something as simple as things being displayed differently on the screen. They have also decided to make a small change to text font, making it a serif font.

If you wanted more information on these changes, Diablo IV will be hosting a Developer Update Livestream on April 20 at 11 AM PDT. The hosts of this livesteam will be Joe Shely (Diablo IV game director), Joseph Piepiora (Diablo IV associate game director), and Adam Fletcher (Diablo IV associate director of community). They will also be joined by special guest host Rhykker.

Together the four hosts will show you the improvements and changes that have taken place up close, so that you can see them with your own eyes. If this is something that interests you, you can watch the livestream on either the official Diablo IV Twitch Channel, or the official Diablo IV YouTube Channel.

What do you think about all of the major changes being made? Are you happy with them, or do you think more changes need to be made? There is a lot of time between now and June 6. If I know anything about Blizzard, they are going to do everything in their power to make sure that Diablo IV is a hit success, just like everyone is hyping it up to be.
