Will Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles get DLC with season 3 characters?
Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles features iconic characters from the first and second seasons of the hit anime, but the game hasn’t included characters from the Swordsmith Village arc yet. From getting the top Hashira fighters to battling Upper Rank demons, here’s what you need to know about a potential DLC or a new character pass.
Will characters from the Swordsmith Village arc be featured in Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles?
While Demon Slayer’s season 3 covers the Swordsmith Village arc from the manga, a release date for added characters in the game hasn’t been confirmed. However, it’s likely that these characters will eventually be playable in the game, as Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles now includes characters from season 2 of the anime, which covers the Entertainment District arc. Fans can choose to play Upper Rank demons such as Daki and Gyutaro in the game, or Hashira warriors such as Tengen Uzui and Kyojuro Rengoku.
With a potential new character pass, Demon Slayer fans may be able to play characters such as Upper Rank demon Doma, or the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji. A new character pass also might include the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, or the hot-headed demon slayer Genya.
A potential new character pass could include Mitsuri’s intense strength as an ability, or Tokito’s impressive swordsmanship.
As for the current character roster in the game, players can enjoy playing fan-favorite characters, utilizing Nezuko’s berserk state, or Zenitsu’s godlike speed for now.
