Quidditch may not have been featured in Hogwarts Legacy, but it seems Harry Potter fans will get their fantasy sports ball fix in after all. Warner Bros. Games have announced a brand-new Harry Potter video game titled, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions has been in development for quite a few years over at Unbroken Studios. There is not a lot of information known about this new Harry Potter video game as of yet, just the basics.

Quidditch Champions will be released on PC and Consoles, but we don’t know exactly which consoles as of this moment. There is no release date that was given at this time either. However, with how popular Hogwarts Legacy is, it comes as no surprise that many Harry Potter video game spin-offs are starting to come out of the shadows.

There are a handful of things about Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions that we do know right now. We know that it is going to be a multiplayer experience that brings to life “the world’s most iconic magical sport,” according to Unbroken Studios. Unbroken Studios continues to state that this game will “engage players in the sport of Quidditch and other broomstick adventures alongside friends in a competitive, multiplayer setting.”

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is its very own game. You do not need to play any other games or watch any movies in order to be familiar with this video game. However, being a primary multiplayer game, you will need an internet connection at all times in order to play.

How to sign-up for playtests

I know this news from Unbroken Studios will excite many people in not only the video game community but the Harry Potter community as well. If you are ready to jump on the hype train, you can sign up for current and future playtests so that you can play Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions early to help with feedback for the game’s official release.

Anyone is able to click the link to sign-up for the playtests, but that doesn’t automatically guarantee that you will be chosen to take part in these tests. If you are chosen, one of the developers from Unbroken Studios or someone who runs the playtests will contact you to join. If you aren’t selected for one of the playtests, maybe you will be chosen for others down the line. There is no news on how many playtests they plan on having, but odds are that there will be at least a few.
