EA Sports PGA Tour is available in various editions and will be released on multiple platforms. But no matter how many platforms a game will come to, there’s always a question if it will make it to Nintendo Switch.
EA Sports made it very clear that EA Sports PGA Tour would not be released on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. This decision was made so that they can solely focus on making the experience on the updated consoles as best as possible. As the power of the Switch is often compared to the PS4 and Xbox One, you may be wondering if it’s coming to Nintendo’s console.
Will EA Sports PGA Tour be available on Nintendo Switch?
Lots of great sports games have been released for the Nintendo Switch so far and even in 2023. The latest sports video game to make it onto the Nintendo Switch was MLB The Show 23. Unfortunately, EA Sports PGA Tour will not be released on Nintendo Switch.
If you head over to the official EA Sports PGA Tour website, you can read their FAQ. One of the FAQ’s asks the question of which platforms EA Sports next golf game will be released on? The consoles that are stated are PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the EA App, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Nintendo Switch was not one of the consoles mentioned and therefore, you will not be able to take EA’s golf game on the go.
For Nintendo Switch fans, this news may be disappointing. However, there are a handful of other ways that you can play EA Sports PGA Tour and with the Frostbite Engine, you surely won’t be disappointed.
