The Long Dark

Is survival games are more your style, then The Long Dark could provide you with that unique experience that you’re looking for. There’s no zombies or monsters to contend with here, just the elements and the wilderness posing a very real threat. Developed by Hinterland Studio Inc, The Long Dark offers a challenging exploration-survival experience for solo players which really puts your resourcefulness to the test.

Explore abandoned buildings and structures, find food and fuel to keep warm and healthy, and be on the look out for any weapons that can keep the hungry wildlife off your back. This game is available on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, but it won’t be sticking around for long.

Despite just receiving an update that improves the frame rate on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, The Long Dark will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 15.
