Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded adds three more party game modes

Modern Warfare 2 is set to get three more party game modes as part of the Season 2 Reloaded update. Here’s what you need to know about each one.

The mid-season Reloaded update for Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 is set to add in a variety of anticipated content to the multiplayer game, including a brand new core 6v6 map — Himmelmatt Expo. In addition the next stage of the Special Ops Raid is set to roll out, with Episode 2 continuing the narrative of Atomgrad. Captain Price, Farah, and Gaz have now found themselves at the base of a ballistic missile, they’ll need to ascend the silo in order to retrieve the attached payload.

For the more pick-up-and-play CoD fans, this update’s exciting addition includes three more party game modes, each stemming from past Call of Duty titles.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded new party game modes listed

The following party game modes are making their debut in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded:

Drop Zone

Capture and hold the Drop Zone to earn points in this team-based mode. Every 15 seconds that the Drop Zone is occupied, a Care Package containing a Killstreak will be dropped in nearby.

All or Nothing

Each Operator finds themselves with a pistol containing no ammo, and only a Throwing Knife for defence. It’s a race to 20 eliminations, with players needing to earn Perks through taking down enemies in order to stay on top.

One in the Chamber

This mode is fast and deadly. Each player gets a pistol with only one bullet, and three lives. A single shot to an opponent anywhere on their body earns an elimination, with the attack gaining another bullet to take into the next fight.

Players of past Call of Duty titles may remember some of these new game modes, now revamped for the latest title. The three modes join the existing lineup of Infected, Gun Game, and Grind.
