There are a handful of secrets that are hidden away in the Demo, but it is up to the players to find them.
One of the secrets hidden away in the RE4 Remake Demo is the TMP submachine gun. Getting your hands on this SMG is a little out of the ordinary, but it isn’t too difficult if you know the steps you need to take in order to acquire it.
The first step you are going to have to take is to just start up the Demo like you normally would. Get through the first part of the Demo and make your way to the cabin. This is after you see the cutscene face off against your first enemy. When you get to the cabin, you will need to strip your inventory of everything you have and make sure you drop everything. Yes, that means leaving not a single item in your inventory. Once you have done this you can proceed to leave the cabin.
On your way to the Village, make sure you also don’t pick up anything on the way. If you have followed the steps above correctly, you can make your way to the back of the village where you can find a well. The exact area is straight back to the back of the village to the left of the building with two torches on each side of its front door. It should be fairly easy to find.
Once you have located the well, make your way down it. At the bottom of the well, the TMP will be located in a chest. Open the chest and the TMP submachine gun is all yours. There are also barrels down in the well that contains some ammo for the SMG as well that you might as well take while you are down there.
Once you acquire the TMP submachine gun, it is yours for the rest of all your Resident Evil 4 Remake playthroughs. So, while it might be a little inconvenient to drop everything you have to just acquire this weapon, you will never have to do it again in the RE4 Remake Demo. If you remember, the TMP submachine gun was in the original Resident Evil 4. Some people enjoyed using it, while others thought that it wasn’t the greatest.
