Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty: 5 things to know before you play
4. Be prepared to cycle through your loot
You are going to come across so much loot and your inventory is going to get quite full over time. You can expect this type of stuff to happen with Role Playing Games, so this game is no different. Don’t just get attached to your favorite weapon because that is what you feel most comfortable with. You are going to have to cycle through weapons and even armor. There is going to be tons of armor or weapons that seem pointless, and you are probably not wrong in saying that. However, over time you are going to need better loot in order to contend with some of the tougher enemies.
5. Spend your Accolades
Accolades will be acquired by accomplishing various tasks throughout the game. If you notice that you have been receiving Accolades but don’t know how to spend them, I will share with you how to do so. You are going to have to travel to Zuo Ci in the Hidden Village. The same NPC where you are able to Respec your Virtue. When you interact with Zuo Ci, you will also have the option to spend your Accolades.
Spending your Accolades are a great way to focus on getting specific weapon types that you are looking for. There are options to buy items, gear, and even weapons. If you notice that you are really enjoying slaying enemies using a Bow, you can purchase a random Bow. The more expensive of a random item you purchase, the better chance of the item being a 3 Stars or 4 Stars. Purchasing a random weapon ranges from Bronze to Gold, with Gold being the most expensive. This is a great way to focus on acquiring weapons that you are seeking and have a good chance of getting one of the rarer side. Don’t let the Accolades that you earned go to waste.
If you familiarize yourself with these tips, you will notice that Wo-Long: Fallen Dynasty will become a little bit easier to understand. You will be one step ahead of the game and you will get a basic understanding on what you have to do to help save the Three Kingdoms from those pesky Demons. Wo-Long: Fallen Dynasty is a hard enough game on its own, so knowing these five things before you play should help you relieve some of the added challenge on your back.
