Hogwarts Legacy: How to get all 3 Unforgivable Curses

If you are familiar with the Harry Potter series, then you know about the three of the most dangerous spells in existence. The three Spells I am referring to are Avada Kedavra, Imperio, and Crucio. In the Wizarding World, these three spells are also known as Unforgivable Curses. Using one of these spells on another human would result in a life sentence at Azkaban. That is how truly powerful these spells can be. These spells are also often referred to as Dark Arts Magic.

If you are unaware of why each spell is so powerful and frowned upon, let me explain. The Avada Kedavra Curse is an instant death spell. If you cast this spell and it ends up hitting your target, it will kill them instantly. This spell is often referred to as the Killing Curse and one of the most famous Unforgivable Curses in the entire Harry Potter franchise.

The Imperio Curse is not as lethal as Avada Kedavra, but still give the spellcaster a ton of control over the enemy. Successfully casting this spell allows the spellcaster to have complete control over their target to make them do whatever they want. Hence, why this one is so dangerous as well.

The final Unforgivable Curse is called the Crucio Curse. The Crucio Curse is designed purely to inflict pain. This is a very torturous spell and will put your enemy through excruciating pain until they can’t take it anymore. Now that you have a better understanding of what each 3 Unforgivable Curses do, know I can tell you how you can obtain all three in Hogwarts Legacy.

Throughout your Hogwarts Legacy journey, you are going to learn how to become a true Wizard or Witch. You will do this by learning all the ins and outs of the Wizarding lifestyle, along with collecting recipes to brew some pretty devastating potions. If you are really looking to become even more powerful, you should think about collecting the three Unforgivable Curse so that you can use them when battling enemies.

Since these three Unforgivable Spells are extremely powerful, it is going to take quite a bit of time before they are all available at your disposal. You can unlock these three Unforgivable Spells by playing through all of Sebastian Sallow’s Quests. You will notice that throughout Hogwarts Legacy, there will be many different characters you come across, each with their own unique stories and rewards. It just so happens that Sebastian Sallow’s Quests, of House Slytherin, is your key to the three Unforgivable Curses.

By the time you are completely finished with Sebastian Sallow’s Storyline, all three Unforgivable Curses will be given to you for use. You don’t have to fear about using these Curses as you won’t receive a life sentence to Azkaban by using them in Hogwarts Legacy. In fact, you will find using these spells extremely useful under certain circumstances.

While Avada Kedavra and Crucio work exactly the same as they do in the Harry Potter Wizarding World, Imperio acts a little bit differently in Hogwarts Legacy. Whenever you use Imperio on an enemy, instead of gaining full control of them to make them do whatever you want, they will become a minion and fight by your side against their own allies.

While you may feel a little extra evil using the Unforgivable Curses, they do come in quite handy. Once you get the taste of Avada Kedavra, you may not be able to stop using it. Hogwarts Legacy officially is available for everyone on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC starting on February 10. If you are waiting to play the game on PS4 and Xbox One, you are going to have to wait until April 4. If you plan on playing Hogwarts Legacy on Nintendo Switch, you are going to have to wait even longer until July 25.
