6. Thunderbrew Potion
Where to find: Can be purchased at J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade.
Ingredients Needed to Brew: 1x Leech Juice, 1x Shrivelfig Fruit, and 1x Stench of the Dead
Potion Purpose: This is potion takes the longest to Brew. Upon drinking the Thunderbrew Potion, a thunderstorm immediately surrounds yourself and any enemies that get near the thunderstorm will get damaged.
Brew Length: This potion takes 1 minute and 30 seconds to brew.
Cost: 1,200 Gold
7. Felix Felicis Potion *(BONUS POTION)*
Where to find: I know I said that there were only six potions, but that’s because one is locked behind the Deluxe Edition. If you pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition you also get the Felix Felicis Potion. This is the only way to receive this potion and there is no other way to acquire this at any point during the game. So, if you purchased the Standard Edition of Hogwarts Legacy, you are only able to acquire six potions. If you pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy, you could acquire seven potions.
Ingredients Needed to Brew: 1x Lacewing Flies, and 1x Fluxweed Stem
Potion Purpose: Drinking this special Felix Felicis Potion will increase your luck in Hogwarts Legacy for one in-game day. This is great if you want to go on a treasure hunt to find some loot chests on the map.
Brew Length: This potion takes 1 minute to brew.
Cost: Free
If you are trying to brew every potion in Hogwarts Legacy simply to get the Achievement/Trophy “Going through the Potion,” you don’t have to worry about brewing the Felix Felicis Potion. You are only required to craft the 6 potions that are available for all players. If you don’t care about the Achievement/Trophy and are just crafting these potions to give you an extra boost during your adventure, you can ignore that completely.

If you are unfamiliar on what you are supposed to do when you are looking to brew potions, all you have to do is head to any Potion Station. From there, you can brew as many potions as you like. Don’t sleep on using any of these. They will come in handier than you may think.
