Destiny 2: Lightfall major changes removes Umbral Engrams
Bungie has announced in a new blog post a vast number of changes headed to Destiny 2 when the Lightfall expansion releases next month. Among the top of those changes is the complete removal of Umbral Engrams from the game. Hundreds of other changes were announced as well on the official blog post.
The removal of Umbral Engrams is a move that the developer is making to switch toward more season items. They have been in the game for the last ten seasons and received from completing many quests and defeating enemies, even in seasonal content. Instead, Bungie will have separate engrams for each season in order to unlock various items for that specific season. Not to worry, however, as any ones you have stocked up can just be swapped out by Rahool in the tower, of course.
ADA-1 is revamping her entire shop and bringing back a whole bunch of shader skins that have been vaulted for a while now. These will cost you 10,000 Glimmer for each one and will be available on a rotating, weekly basis with only a stock of three separate shaders each week. With only three a week, it will take a while to possibly get the ones you would like considering the sheer volume she’ll be selling. They will be as follows:
Bergusian Night
Satou Tribe
House of Meyrin
Rasmussen Clan
Refurbished Black Armory
New Age Black Armory
GENOTYPENULL-ZERO
Dark Omolon
Envious Touch
Goldleaf
Golden Empire

There are hundreds more fixes and upgrades included, with weapons and gear from previous season and expansion being focused for various costs. Destiny 2: Lightfall will launch on February 28 on all available platforms and is completely changing the makeup of the game. Most recently, Bungie announced changes to how Champions would be fought, making them much more user friendly. Take a look at the full blog announcement and let us know what you think.
