7 highly anticipated games releasing before Summer 2023
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The most anticipated game of the year from The Game Awards, Tears of the Kingdom is a sequel set 1000 years before Breath of the Wild. Link’s adventure will see a different look on the ancient guardians and most likely a new enemy or confidant set to aid us on our adventure. No gameplay has been shown yet, but we don’t have too much longer to go as the Master Sword will once again be unsheathed on Nintendo Switch on May 12
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
This is the game I am most scared about. When it was first announced, Kill the Justice League was an interesting premise, but I wasn’t sure how it would actually play out. Years later and with no tangible gameplay shown, I’m still in the same boat.
We’ve seen several cinematic scenes so far including the return of the great Kevin Conroy as Batman, but no real gameplay has been shown at all. Rocksteady has a great reputation for the Arkham series and rightfully so, but something about this game has me incredibly worried.
I’m not into killing superheroes, to begin with, but this seems like a vast undertaking that Rocksteady could quite literally be jumping the shark with (pun intended) with Kill the Justice League. We’ll find out soon enough as the game launches on May 26 on PC, PlayStation 5and Xbox Series S/X
