Transformers

It’s been just about 40 years since Transformers made their debut and they’ve been a huge success ever since. Toys galore and nearly a dozen movie and TV shows leave so much possibility for the franchise. Imagine all of the skins with different kinds of Autobots and Decepticons. You can even throw in the animal Transformers from the upcoming movie.

The storylines offer a never-ending possibility of options and the humor – I can see it now. Something tells me it would have some Autobot like Jazz getting stuck in the middle of transforming and having to smack himself to complete it.

LEGO games are known for their humor and the characters already have their own individual personalities that would shine in the franchise. Who would your main mini-fig be, other than Optimus of course?

The Simpsons

This is a franchise that I’m honestly quite surprised DOESN’T have a LEGO game yet. There are over 30 seasons of the show with an episode count at the top of the all-time list. The character count alone is enormous, and please, do we need to bring up the show’s humor combined with LEGO?

Something about mini-fig Bart cruising around Springfield on his skateboard as the hub world just has me hooked. I could see the story now, too. Mr. Burns is on a rampage and it’s up to us to stop him in order to save Springfield from the power plant melting down. And come on, who DOESN’T want to see a Krusty the Klown mini-fig or Homer trying to crush a can of Duff?

Someone get Matt Groening on the line, this is a gold mine here.
