10 Indie Games coming in 2023 that you need to know about

Replaced
Replaced blew everyone away with its debut trailer last year and for good reason. It was an incredibly immersive and cinematic trailer, especially for a side-scrolling game but if the final product is anything like the trailers then we are in for a treat. A cyberpunk game with a breathtaking art style featuring pixelated characters in a fully HD-rendered environment. Replaced is a 2.5D action platformer with combat that looks to have the fluidity of the John Wick films.
Simply put it looks awesome and sometimes that’s all you need to know about a game. Replaced will release sometime in 2023 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S & PC. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
Blanc
One of the most heartwarming games I’ve ever seen, Blanc looks like a classic children’s book brought to life. A co-op-only game about a wolf cub and a fawn who form an unlikely friendship as they work to help one another find their lost families. The art style resembles hand-drawn pencil sketches and is beautiful to look at.
It’s a completely non-violent game so it’s suitable for anyone to play. Parents with children, romantic partners, or just animal-loving friends. Blanc looks to be an absolutely wonderful game about friendship and togetherness that will melt the heart of even the most stone-cold of gamers.
Blanc will release on Feb 14, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PC.
