10 Indie Games coming in 2023 that you need to know about

Another Crab’s Treasure
Everyone loves Souls games. Either that or my Twitter timeline this year was filled with liars. Do you know what else people love? Crabs. That’s right, crabs. So it was only a matter of time before someone made a Soulslike where you play as a crab. Enter Another Crab’s Treasure, a Soulslike where you play as a crab who lost his shell and has to get it back. On your journey, you’ll pick up other random items to use as a shell and battle your way through evil sea creatures.
With a brightly colored art style that belies its tough-as-nails design, Another Crab’s Treasure looks to be a fun and unique spin on a usually dark and serious genre. Another Crab’s Treasure will release sometime in 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PC.
Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals
Oxenfree was a narrative adventure game that was released to critical acclaim thanks to its engrossing sci-fi mystery plot, brilliant dialogue, great characters, and the story’s thematic resonance. Taking place five years after the original with new characters, Lost Signals has a high bar to live up to. Oxenfree was enough proof that Night School Studio has the chops to make an incredible narrative game.
If Lost Signals is even half as good as the original it will still be one of the top games of the year. Oxenfree 2 will release sometime in 2023 for PS4, PS5, Switch and PC.
