With just a few days left in the year, it’s only a matter of time before Sony officially announces next month’s games for PS Plus. But as is becoming tradition, it seems the games have leaked beforehand. And if it proves true, there’s a lot for gamers to be excited about.

As reported by Gamerant, Twitter user billbil-kun has leaked the PS Plus games for January 2023. The lineup, if accurate, will include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76 and Axiom Verge 2. According to Gamerant, the user has a solid track record for PS Plus leaks, so there’s a good chance these will be the games feature in next month’s lineup.

Plus, it makes sense. With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — the sequel to Fallen Order — releasing in March, this would be the perfect way for Sony and EA to introduce players to the series if they haven’t already played the first game. Include the game in PS Plus to give gamers a chance to play it for free and get them hyped for the sequel, which launches in just a few months.

As for Fallout 76, the game is already available in the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog of games, so adding it to the Essential tier for the rest of us to play seems like a logical step. I don’t really have a reason for Axiom Verge 2, but not every game in the lineup needs one. It’s just a solid game that members should be excited about.

It’s worth mentioning that both Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Axiom Verge 2 have native PS5 versions. For Fallen Order, you’ll even get support for 4K resolution and a separate mode for 60 FPS gameplay. Fallout 76 is the only one without a native PS5 version, so you’ll have to settle for the PS4 version.

While Fallout 76 was an absolute trainwreck at launch back in 2018, Bethesda Game Studios has spent the past years updating it and now it’s actually enjoyable. If you haven’t played it yet, this is a fantastic time to jump in.

dark. Next. New games on PS Plus Extra and Premium for December 2022

Now because this list has been leaked, it’s not yet official. Hopefully, Sony announces January’s lineup in the next few days but it’s possible we won’t get confirmation until after we ring in the New Year. If the lineup is true, then what a way to kick off 2023.
