Fortnite: Mr. Beast is giving away $1,000,000 in Extreme Challenge

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as “Mr.Beast,” is a massive YouTube personality and philanthropist that loves to help people out by giving away tons amount of his money. With over 118 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, he continuously makes millions of dollars every month throughout the year. Each video that he makes on YouTube normally involves some sort of challenge or task that give people the opportunity to win a huge chunk of his money. With Mr. Beast one of the most popular celebrities in the world and Fortnite being one of the most popular video games of the past handful of years, the two are joining together to give away another $1,000,000 of Mr. Beast’s money in an all-new Extreme Survival Challenge.

If you are looking for your chance to win $1,000,000 all you will have to do is log-on to Fortnite on December 17 at 12pm EST-3PM EST and play the MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Challenge Island. This limited time game mode will only be available on December 17 for that lonely 3-hour time frame.

When you hop into a match in this new game mode, you are going to want to “avoid hazards, collect coins, and survive extreme challenges to earn Score.” Earning Score is how you are going to take home the $1,000,000 prize. Each match you will want to accumulate as much score as possible by the end of the match. During the 3-hour time frame, you can participate in how ever many matches you can cram in. At the end of the challenge, Fortnite will automatically take your highest Score from the best match that you played and that will determine where you land on the leaderboard. So, if you have a bad match with not a lot of Score, it won’t be a big deal because it is only going to score your best match anyways.

If you have the highest score out of any other player in Fortnite at the end of the Extreme Survival Challenge, the $1,000,000 will be yours. If you don’t finish first, but still manage to place in the top 100,000, you will be rewarded with a Golden Beast Brella Umbrella. A way to say thank you to the top players who took part in his challenge.

The Mr. Beast Extreme Survival Challenge Island will officially debut in Fortnite on December 13, but that is just so you can practice around with the game mode before the challenge officially gets underway. A little practice in this game mode might just ensure that you are a millionaire before the end of the week.

Other Mr. Beast content coming to Fortnite this week

This $1,000,000 challenge isn’t the only Mr. Beast content coming to Fortnite this week. In fact, you can play as Mr. Beast himself if you so choose to. Starting December 14, you will be able to purchase the Mr. Beast character outfit in the Item Shop. There will be two outfits available to purchase, the Mr. Beast and Mr. Beast 6000.

There are also matching accessories that will be available for each outfit that includes a Pickaxe and Backdrop Wrap for the normal Mr. Beast Outfit and a Pickaxe, Prized Package Back Bling, and Glider for the Mr. Beast 6000 Outfit. To go along with all this Mr. Beast content will also be a Beast Blastin’ Emoji you can use during games as well.

Mr. Beast Quests

The final bit of new content coming into Fortnite is the addition of MrBeast’s Extreme Survival Quests. There will be a total of two Quests that you will have the chance to complete starting when the practice Island goes live on December 13.

One of the Quests grant you a Mr. Beast Gaming Spray and the other Quest grants you a Mr. Beast loading screen. You will have plenty of time to try and complete this Quests because they will be in Fortnite all the way until January 4.

Bringing together Mr. Beast and Fortnite is going to drive a ton of players to participate in this Extreme Survival Challenge. Not only is there a good chance that you will be decked out in Mr. Beast gear by the end of the week, but you can also be that one lucky person who becomes a millionaire just in time for the holidays just because you conquered a simple Fortnite challenge.
