GameStop Black Friday 2022: Best PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch deals

Black Friday is here! Well, technically, the holiday sales have been here, but today is the official day. For GameStop, it marks the biggest sale of the year. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the best PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles, games and accessories available at GameStop on Black Friday.

Xbox console and accessories

If you’re in the market for an affordable next-gen console, the Xbox Series S is on sale for $249.99 — $50 off its normal price. There doesn’t appear to be any discount on the more powerful Xbox Series X, but the Series S is a good entry point for anyone on a budget this year.

If you need an extra controller, select Xbox Series X Controllers are on sale for $44.99, a savings of $20. The PowerA Fusion Pro 2 Wired Controller for Xbox Series X is also on sale for $69.99 ($20 off).

PS5 console and accessories

While there’s no discount on the PlayStation 5 for the holidays, GameStop says that PS5 consoles will be available online and in-store on Black Friday.

If you need some more storage, the Seagate 4TB Game Drive External Hard Drive is on sale for $94.99 ($30  off). You can also save $30 on the Sony PULSE 3D Wireless Gaming Headset for PlayStation 5, which is priced for $69.99. And if you need a controller, the DualSense Wireless is on sale for $49.99 ($25 off).

Nintendo Switch console and accessories

The Nintendo Switch with Mario Kart 8 Holiday bundle is back for the fourth year. For $299.99, you can get a Switch, a copy of Mario Kart 8 and 3 months of Nintendo Switch Online.

You can also save $10 on the PDP LVL40 Wired Stereo Headset Black for Nintendo Switch which is priced at $14.99.

Xbox, PlayStation and Switch video games

There are hundreds of video games discounted. Most discounts on multiplatform games apply to all console versions unless the game is exclusive of course. here are some of the highlights:

  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (PS5) – $39
  • NBA 2K23 – $35

  • Saints Row Criminal Custom Edition GameStop Exclusive – $35
