God of War Ragnarok officially released today and with an estimated 20-25 hours time to beat, you may not be quite ready for this. But like hte first game, God of War Ragnarok has another secret ending scene. Well, it’s actually not so secret, or hard to unlock for that matter. All you need to do is complete a post-game mission.

How to unlock the God of War Ragnarok secret ending

Once you beat the main story of God of War Ragnarok, speak with Lunda at Sindri’s House. You’ll receve a quest called “A Viking Funeral.”

You’ll have to travel back to Svartalfheim, specifically Nidavellir. Head into the tavern and speak with Durlin, Lunda and Raeb. They’ll tell you that they are taking Brok to the Sved Sands to pay their respects. You must now travel to Sverd Sands.

Head over to the southern edge of Arvangar Wetlands and you’ll see a pully bridge right next to the Mystic Gateway. Once you reach Sverd Sands, interact with Bork’s body to pay your respects and send him off to Valhalla.

You can watch the scene unfold below. However, if you’re trophy hunting and trying to obtain the Platinum Trophy, you may want to complete the quest as it will unlock the “Funeral for a Friend” (Silver) trophy.

Once the cinematic plays, you’ll see the end credits roll. This marks the official to the main story of God of War Ragnarok. What are you thoughts on the ending and the game itself?

God of War Ragnarok is now available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It currently sits at a 94 on Metacritic, making it an instant Game of the Year contender.
