One of the greatest Killstreaks in Call of Duty history was the 25 Killstreak Nuke from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). The 25 Killstreak Nuke was one you were able to set and earn it in a very unique way. If you got kills with other Killstreaks, those kills would work towards your other set Killstreaks. What this meant is that if you were able to get a Chopper Gunner, you would have a very high chance of obtaining the Nuke in the same game as long as you kept yourself hidden well. Once you got the 25 kills that you needed, you were able to call in the Nuke and give your team the win.

Ever since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) the Nuke has never been the same. While many Call of Duty games in the franchise have featured a variation of the beloved Nuke, the requirements have changed over the years. Some Nukes required 25 kills, some Nukes required 30 kills, and some Nukes didn’t even end the game when you called it in. However, the two things all those Nuke Killstreaks had in common were that you didn’t have to set the Nuke as one of your three Killstreaks, and other Killstreak kills did not count towards getting the Nuke.

Every year a new Call of Duty game is released in the franchise, and the community always asks the question of whether or not you are able to call in a Nuke. I can confirm that for the newly released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, there is a variation of the Nuke called the MGB Nuke.

The MGB Nuke is a secret 30 Killstreak Nuke that can only be obtained by getting 30 kills in a row without dying using only your weapons and equipment. Just like a majority of Call of Duty games, this is a Killstreak that is already set for everyone behind the scenes. Anyone can obtain the MGB Nuke at any given time if they are able to meet the difficult requirement.

If you or one of your teammates are lucky enough to get this extremely rare Killstreak, it will be an automatic win for your team as long as you can get the MGB Nuke called in on time before the match ends. Once called in, the MGB Nuke will display a 10-second countdown. Once that timer reaches zero the MGB Nuke will be set off and the team that called in the Killstreak will automatically win the game and the match will end immediately.
