Halloween is right around the corner and normally around this time of the year, video games tend to get in on the spooky fun with some sort of special event. Overwatch 2 hasn’t even been out a month and already will be having its first-ever Halloween event, Halloween Terror.

Halloween Terror isn’t new to the Overwatch franchise. If you can recall, the original game featured the Halloween Terror Event where gamers were able to get the Werewolf Winston Skin for a total of 3,000 Credits. However, now thanks to Twitch Drops, you are able to get the Werewolf Winston Skin for free in Overwatch 2.

If you aren’t familiar with Twitch Drops, Twitch Drops are rewards you can earn by watching a particular game on Twitch. Twitch Drops is how you will be able to unlock and acquire the Werewolf Winston Skin for Overwatch 2 for free.

How to make sure that your Twitch account is connected to your Battle.net account

The most important thing that you will need to do to make sure you are eligible to receive the Legendary Werewolf Winston Skin is to make sure your Twitch account is connected to your Battle.net account. You can make sure that both are connected successfully by following a couple of steps.

  1. Whatever account you use for Overwatch 2, log in to that same Battle.net account.
  2. Navigate to the connections tab and connect your Twitch account if you have not done so already. If your notice that your Twitch account is already set up, there is nothing further that you would need to do.

Once you have everything connected, you are ready to start earning your way toward the Legendary Werewolf Winston Skin. Starting on October 25 and running through November 6 you will need to watch Overwatch 2 Twitch streams that have Twitch Drops enabled. Normally Twitch streams will let you know if they have Twitch Drops enabled so double-check first. You can also just head over to the Overwatch 2 section of Twitch, and you will have no trouble finding a stream to watch. If you watch a total of 2 hours of Overwatch 2 Twitch streams, you will unlock the Werewolf Spray. If you watch a grand total of six hours, that is how you unlock the Legendary Werewolf Winston Skin.

Once you have all six of your hours accumulated, you will need to head over to your Drops Inventory section on your Twitch page to claim the rewards you have earned. Once you have claimed your rewards it can take up to 24 hours to actually receive the reward in the game.
