Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: Which edition should you purchase?
It has been five years since Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was first released. That was the very first time that Mario and his friends crossed over with the Rabbids to create a decently rated video game from Ubisoft. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle actually only received a 7.7 review score from IGN which isn’t terrible. The concept for their first installment was good, but it felt like the game could have given gamers a little bit more. Five years later, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope has come up to the plate and this time is already receiving better reviews than its predecessor.
Mario is one of the biggest names in Nintendo and when a new Mario video game is released, everyone is hoping that it can live up to big expectations. It is great to see that a lot of the early reviews have been solid as this game appears to be a major step up from the first game.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope officially releases to the public on October 20, 2022, and if you are looking to purchase a copy of them game, you will first have to make a choice on which edition of the video game you want to purchase.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Standard Edition
There are a total of two different editions that you can purchase for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Your first option is to purchase just the Standard Edition. This is obviously just your standard copy of the game, and you are going to get everything you can expect to get, a standard copy of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. If you are looking to purchase the Standard Edition, you can expect to pay $59.99.
If you were someone who has decided to pre-order the game, you can also be expecting to receive a code for the Megabug Collection. The Megabug Collection code can be redeemed in order to get 9 additional weapon skins in the game. A little way for Ubisoft to say thank you for pre-ordering their game.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Gold Edition
The other copy of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope that you can purchase is the Gold Edition. The Gold Edition comes with a few extra items, but it will also cost you $89.99 compared to $59.99. With the Gold Edition you automatically have instant access to the Galactic Prestige Collection and will automatically acquire the Season Pass as well.
The Season Pass is going to offer gamers a variety of cool cosmetics, items, and a new playable character to unlock as you progress through the Season Pass. If the Season Pass is going to be something you think that you may be investing in anyway, then the Gold Edition might be the right option for you to purchase just so you can get the Galactic Prestige Collection lumped in with this deal.
Even though you don’t have many options to choose from in terms on if you rather have the Standard Edition or the Gold Edition, you still have a choice to make. If you plan on putting a lot of hours into the game, the Gold Edition would definitely be worth the extra money just so you can have access to the Season Pass. However, if you rather purchase the Standard Edition and see how much you actually enjoy the game before deciding on the Season Pass, you can always purchase the Season Pass later on.
