As we prepare to turn the calendar page, Amazon has revealed the next batch of games coming to Prime Gaming. If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can look forward to seven free games coming your way in October.
Up first is Bethesda’s online action role-playing game Fallout 76. The prequel to the previous entries in the beloved franchise is set 25 years after the Great War. Vault 76 has opened up and its residents have the task of repopulating the Wasteland. In typical Fallout fashion though, there’s more than meets the eye with the purpose of Vault 76. Fallout 76 recently released its 13th major update, titled The Pitt, which features the former city of Pittsburgh as part of its Expeditions.
Also free next month is Middle-earth: Shadow of War, the sequel to Shadow of Mordor, which coincidently was free through Prime Gaming during September. Continue the adventures of the ranger Talion and the spirit elf lord Celebrimbor as they forge a new Ring of Power to amass any army to fight Sauron.
Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer II is another free game coming in October. The game combines turn-based strategy and real-time tactics gameplay in “campaign of exploration, expansion and conquest across a fantasy world.”
For you older gamers out there, LOOM, the early ’90s fantasy-themed graphic adventure game from Lucasfilm Games, will be free. Travel back to the Age of the Great Guilds and unravel the mystery of the strange power that has swept the Weavers into oblivion.
Rounding out October’s Prime Gaming offerings are Glass Masquerade: Origins, an artistic puzzle game inspired by Art Deco and stained glass artisans of the 20th century; Hero’s Hour, a fast turn-based strategy RPG with real-time combat; and Horace, the award-winning platform adventure.
All seven of these games will be free in addition to Prime Gaming’s usual assortment of exclusive content for games such as Fall Guys, League of Legends, Roblox, Grand Theft Auto and more. Overall, it’s another solid month of free gaming for Amazon Prime members and a nice perk for those who subscribe to Amazon’s service. Between Middle-earth Shadow of War, Fallout 76 and Horace, you should have plenty to keep you busy.
