Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One new game releases in September 2022
Welcome to September. With summer winding down, we are now entering the “holiday season” for gaming. Unfortunately, Redfall and Starfield, two of Xbox’s biggest tentpole titles, have been pushed back to 2023. The new Forza Motorsport 7 also isn’t due to arrive until spring 2023. So what do Xbox Series X|S owners have to look forward to?
Admittedly, it’s a quiet month in terms of Xbox exclusives, but that’s not to say there aren’t some intriguing games set to release this month.
Temtem, a Pokemon-like adventure game in which you capture adorable creatures, makes its console debut on September 6. Disney Dreamlight Valley, which is basically Animal Crossing set in a Disney universe, also arrives in early access. And if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, yo automatically get to play without having to purchase the Founder’s pack.
On the sports front, we’ve got NBA 2K23 and FIFA 23. These are two premiere sports franchises that promise authentic gameplay experiences, especially if you’re playing on Xbox Series X|S.
