Call of Duty: Warzone 2 release date has been leaked online

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to be released on October 28, 2022. Gamers have been really excited as for what is to come with the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise. One of the things it will bring is Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has been talked about for quite some time. The Call of Duty community knows that it is only a matter of time before the hit Battle Royale spinoff game will be making its way into homes across the world.

Besides a couple of exciting features rumored to be headed into Call of Duty: Warzone 2, there hasn’t been much to get excited about. We know virtually nothing about the new Battle Royale game.

However, we may finally have a potential release date for it. As first seen on r/classicwow Reddit post, an image of a document that apparently comes from Activision reveals the potential launch date for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

The image clearly shows that the release date for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is scheduled for November 16. This would only be a couple of weeks after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is released.

Just because the image of the document has been leaked,  doesn’t mean that this is the confirmed release date. Activision and no other official Call of Duty source has confirmed the November 16th date, but this is definitely a great starting point.

If you look at some of the other information on the document, it also shows release dates for plenty of other popular Activision Blizzard games, such as the Overwatch 2 launch that takes place on October 4.

It also shows the release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as October 27. Even though the release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is technically October 28, there is a  chance that you will be able to download and play it a few hours before October 28 depending on where you are located in the world. Both of the release dates on the document add up to what has already been confirmed for their other games.

With that being said since the release dates for other games on the document are completely accurate, this image may actually be factual and Call of Duty: Warzone 2 may actually be released sooner than we all think on November 16. If November 16 does turn out to be the actual release date, then we should all expect to get some official announcement from Activision soon.
