Stefon Diggs, Buffalo Bills

Stefon Diggs is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, but I feel like he doesn’t get enough recognition. Since joining Buffalo in 2020, Diggs has not only put up career-best numbers, but some of the best stats in the league.

In 2020, he led the league in receptions (127) and yards (1,535). He also added eight touchdowns. His production dipped slightly last season, but he still recorded 103 catches for 1,225 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Diggs may not be as flashy as some of the other wide receivers on this list, but he is one of the best route-runners in the league and has fantastic hands. He just knows how to get open and give Allen a safety net should the play start to fall apart.

Diggs actually began Madden 22 with a 97 rating but was dropped to a 95 overall by the Super Bowl week. Part of that could simply have had to do with the number of weapons the Bills have on offense and getting him the ball became harder. But he’s still Josh Allen’s favorite target and the best wide receiver on the team.

Heading into his third season with the Bills, there’s no reason to believe Diggs will fall off. I have him returning as a top-five wide receiver in Madden 23 with a 96 overall.
