Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection coming in 2023
Mega Man is a classic video game franchise that really captivated gamers back in the early days. Mega Man has since been talked about and remastered since then and will once again be making a return in 2023. Nintendo hostedtheir Nintendo Direct Mini show on June 28 and one of the highlights was the announcement of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection.
The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is set to feature all 10 Battle Network Mega Man games from the Gameboy Advance Era. Mega Man Battle Network 1 was released over 20 years ago in 2001. Since then, the franchise has spawned 9 additional Battle Network games, all released on the Gameboy Advance.

What was truly unique about these Mega Man video games is that Mega Man played these games on a 3×6 grid and had to defeat enemies using Battle Chips. They weren’t your standard Mega Man-style game, but nonetheless, they were popular back in the early 2000s.
With the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection releasing in 2023 and how much more updated gaming hardware is, there will be a handful of new features coming with the collection. Some of the new features are an Art Gallery featuring over 1,000 different illustrations and even a Music Player loaded up with 188 songs from the Mega Man franchise. A great feature that will truly combine all 10 Battle Network games into one.
As I said earlier, given that this collection is being released in 2023, the graphics are going to be way better than they were on the Gameboy Advance. The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection will have a built-in high-resolution filter option that can be toggled on or off upon your preference. If you really want to throw it back a couple of decades ago you can turn the option off and will have relatively similar graphics to the original games. If you want to toggle on the high-resolution option, you will have much more updated graphics while still having an old-style feel of the classic video game franchise.

The Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is scheduled to be released at some point in 2023 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. You will be able to play this Legacy Collection virtually wherever you like to game. If you are a fan of the Mega Man franchise, this may be a video game that you are going to want to add to your collection.
