PUBG teases new map, Sounds of D, with an intriguing video

PUBG Corporation has announced a brand new map for players in the game called the Sounds of D. The map, which was announced on June 20, has yet to release and we were only given a small teaser of it.

In announcing the map, PUBG Corp. referred to it as “Sounds of D_ _ _ _ _.” The full name is expected to be revealed with the next update.

PUBG New Map: Sounds of D?

A video for the new map was published on the official PUBG YouTube channel, but offers only a audio clue as to what the map could be. The video encourages users to listen with headphones for the best experience..

Many might think that these are sound effects, but officially, the team has mentioned that it is a new map that will be released soon. It’s believed the new map will be revealed on Friday, June 24, although we don’t have confirmation.

The emphasis of sound in the video suggests the update won’t only introduce a new map but improve many aspects of the game, including sound quality and effects.

SciSuggest has mentioned some expectations that players might have in the upcoming update. Those expectations are:

  • Improved Graphics
  • Enhanced Gameplay
  • Better Sound Quality
  • A New Map
  • New Weapons
  • Maybe a new gun for the driver

The announcement has sparked a variety of comments from the community on the PUBG Corp. Twitterp age. While some appreciate the vagueness and mystery of the teaser, some are also disappointed that the trailer did not reveal anything other than the name.

The name of the map is Sounds of D_ _ _ _ _, which means the full name is yet to be revealed. There is no official announcement yet, but surely it will be announced in the upcoming time. We’ll be sure to let you know when the new map is formally unveiled.
