Fall Guys has been permanently removed from Steam

Fall Guys has been one of the most popular games for the past couple of years. Its goofiness and creative gameplay mechanics have really turned Fall Guys into a major success. If you have been playing Fall Guys on Steam, then you are part of a select community that will ever be able to play the game on the Steam platform.

As of June 21, Fall Guys has been permanently removed from the Steam platform as the game transitions to its free-to-play model. When the game was first released on PS4 and Steam back in 2020, it cost $19.99. Now, gamers don’t have to worry about paying a penny as Mediatonic was acquired by Epic Games and will be free to play going forward. Also with this change, Fall Guys will be available on Xbox Consoles, Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC.

The bad news is that if you are a big Steam fan and use that as your go-to gaming service, you will not be able to find or download Fall Guys on Steam. You can’t even search for it on their website. The good news is that Mediatonic came out and said on a Steam community page that the game will still receive full support from gamers who already own the video game on Steam.

Don’t worry, just because Fall Guys is off of Steam that doesn’t mean you can no longer access the game on PC if you don’t have it downloaded already. All you would have to do now is head over to the Epic Games Store and you can download it for free over there. The Epic Games Store is home to a variety of other great games, including the popular Battle Royale game Fortnite. Epic Games purchasing of Mediatonic is going to be a great way to promote Fall Guys along with potentially plenty of Mediatonic’s future games on their platform.

Fall Guys has officially made the change and is now available virtually on any major gaming platform that you so choose to play on. Download the game for free and embark on a goofy new journey that will surely keep you busy for hours on end.
